Description
Septia Rani is a lecturer at the Department of Informatics Universitas Islam Indonesia. She obtained her Master’s degree in Computer Science in 2014 from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. During that time, she also got the Erasmus Mundus scholarship from the European Union to attend the student exchange program at Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
Her research interests are mainly related to artificial intelligence, data science, and also information hiding. Currently, she is working on a research project related to the development of a smart application for travel itinerary planning using artificial intelligence techniques. Septia and her colleagues are also working on several machine learning projects for object detection in images.
Outside academia, she enjoys traveling, landscape photography, and also reading popular psychology books.
