Sneak Peek on Students’ Research in Malaysia

What a wonderful experience happened to our fellow collages who had a chances to join research and publication programs in Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) Malaysia. There are two program held by UTP namely, Research Attachment Programme (RAP) and Science and Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX). The programs was attended by three of our students Ruhil Iswara (RAP), Arif Faizal and Timothy Dilan (SEDEX). Both the programs were supported by Informatics Master Program UII to enhance the skill on research for our students.

Here we have their testimonials about the programs.

‘This program was a research expertise which focused in research publication for international level which indexed by Scopus. During the time I was accompanied by Ts. Dr. Nurul Aida Osman, a lecturer from Computer and Information Sciences Department in UTP’  -Ruhil Iswara

The research was started at 2 October 2023 and last until three months. From the program, Ruhil believes he got a benefit which is a significant impact for his research experience and academic achievement.

Another point of view from our representatives on SEDEX program stated that ‘This is the 50th edition of Science and Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX) held on  6th September, 2023.”

SEDEX is a research exhibition hold by UTP in order to gather all researchers and students to showcasing their innovations and ingenuity in STEM.

According to Arif and Dilan, participate in this activity enhancing their understanding on research which their doing right now  also enrich their knowledge, skill, and relation in global environment. “This, can be a lot of challenge for both of us in international scale” Arif stated.
